Abstract

|
Nontubercolous spinal epidural abscess is a relatively un~~ommon disease that usually occurs irr ~tien.ts who harbour a focus of chronic infection some~vherc; outside the spinal epidural abscess, id that dernands early diagnosis and operation to prevent paralysis.
The etiological, pathoIegical, clinical, therapeutic and pro;nostic aspects of nontuberculous spinal ~idural abscess are studied in the light of exprience E;athered in definite treatment of 34 msecutive cases on the neuresurgical service of Kyungpoek National University Hospital between years 1965 and 1915.
